You may have spotted Anita before in Body Shop stores world wide. We were asked to design and produce the bath tub chair for the body shop to show their commitment to the environment, social responsibilities and for their new "beauty with heart" campaign. We take original cast iron roll top baths, remove the taps, plug holes etc, cut them in half and shot blast them back to bare metal. The raw cut edge is filled and sanded several times prior to paint preparation. We then reposition the beautiful ball and claw feet and add the bespoke purpose made rear leg. Chairs are professionally painted inside and out in a colour scheme of your choice. Upholstery is available either from our current stock or provided by the customer. We are proud to have named the bath tub chair after the late, great Anita Roddick who opened the first Body Shop store located in Brighton in March 1976.
