Yes, pretty much anything is possible here at reestore. Most of the furniture you see on our website is produced by hand in our Bedfordshire studios.
You can choose from this seasons range of colours, supply us with an item to colour match, or provide us with a RAL/PANTONE reference. You can choose from our latest favourite fabrics or provide us with your own material. You can even have your logo or design printed onto the seat cushions or glass.
Max loves a challenge, and while we enjoy producing our existing range, we get really excited when customers send us some random junk to transform into something stylish and beautiful. [Please do consider that this can be a lengthy process, and such projects often require longer lead times.] Prices are provided on application.
Our Commissions include creating branded trolley chairs for Marks and Spencers, Tesco, and High Co Marketing in Paris. The Body Shop are placing our infamous bath tub chair named Anita in stores worldwide while Google are commissioning all sorts of madness from bicycle seat stools to seesaws! In 2013 we also produced the metal work installations at Chelsea flower show for Kate Gould Gardens. Check out Maxs happy little face below when he was presented with his very own gold medal!
It was an absolute honour to be asked to design and produce the metal work features for Kate Gould’s Chelsea garden 2013. They are a lovely team and a pleasure to work with, I'll be honest I was slightly nervous about working with the elite Chelsea jet setters but Kate was great fun and amazingly hands on - quite literally getting her sleeves rolled up and mucking in! The garden itself was based around a derelict wasteland with upcycled trolley and mattress screens, a bath tub chair and a beautiful water wall produced from wash drums.
I was invited to attend the show where upon arrival I was ushered into the award winning garden and presented with a glass of Champagne and my very own Gold medal certificate! What an incredible day – I don’t often take the time out to enjoy my creations in all their glory but I’ve realised it’s really important to keep your creative Mojo going! The garden was mind blowing although I’ll be honest I still don’t have a clue what half the flowers were!
Google have been customers of ours for a few years now but their Dublin offices were something quite special! rather than selecting from our existing range of slightly sensible upcycled furniture they were adamant they wanted see saws and stools made from bicycle parts! hours of head scratching and tea drinking later we created the colourful contraptions below which sit pride of place in their reception area, naturally I had to deliver these in person and have a test run!
We were contacted by a rather excentric (read 'bonkers') couple in 2010, to produce our infamous "Deborah desk". It was requested that Deborah be suspended from oak beams in the couple's rather glorious office.
The result as you can see was absolutely stunning. The brushed and polished (over 100 hours!) alluminium wing fixes with one single leg at the front, and two suspension wires at the rear.
As a result, Tina and NIgel are now close friends with the reestore team, and regular customers too.
Do you have an old item of junk that you would like to be pimped by the team? We can not promise friendship, but we can promise a beautiful design outcome, so contact us via email: commissions@reestore.com
